We serve to remind YOU of a feeling killed by tears
Killed by death
Killed by lack of an enemy
Killed by mind control
A feeling whose death we witnessed
In churches. When preacher man yelled HALLELUYAH as he looked down on our offering.
When priests and sisters locked us in a room with our desperation,
stole our light and fed us bullshit.
A feeling whose death we witnessed.
In schools. When formulas were memorized and crayons broken
When history taught us colors. Painted white the enemy and black the idiot.
